Ace Aviation started the design on the single seater Magic Microlight series back in 1999. It has been tested modified and produced in India since then. Materials from Europe and the the USA are used in the construction of the trike, air-frame and sail.

John Penry-Evans who originally came from Wales in the UK directs all of Ace Aviation`s testing and production in India. He has been involved in the aerosports industry with many companies since the 1970`s. The present workforce of 18 skilled people keep the standard of the finished product very high.

            

The Magic Trike:

The Magic Trike design has many important ergonomic and practical features as standard:

* Our microlights   are not kits   they are fully built and rigged and we take out just 8 bolts to pack it up in the export box.

*Forks are adjustable for leg length.

* Large steering bar on front forks for stable ground control.

* The heavily padded and comfortable seat has extended thigh support.

* Two colour seats and side fairings as standard.

* 2 zipped baggage compartments integral with seat  -  38 litres.

* Instrument for panel is included.

* Integral head rest is standard.

* Front braked wheel for all models.

* The trike collapses forward for easy, one person detachment of wing.

* Dual throttles are stendard (Foot and hand cruise control).

* Large purpose built hand throttle and leather covered console. Console includes Choke lever, kill switch and stater button.

The U.K. Magic Cyclone comes with the Rotax 447.
The Cyclone is a high performance wing of 11.5 sq meters and has a 90% double surface. The modern Simonini engines are also an option. All have ceramic coated cylinders. The Simonini Victor 1 Plus, water cooled dual ignition engined trike gives a fast cruise speed of 70 Mph or 61 Knots (112 kph). Maximum level speed of 75 Mph 69 Knots (120 kph). VNE 92 MPH (147 KPH). Empty weight is 107 KG`s.

The Laser is a high performance wing with docile handling, 90% double surface, 13 sq meter area. Coupled to the Mini 2 plus engine has a cruise of 47 mph (75 kph). Maximum level speed of 63 mph (101 kph). The Powerful 48 Hp Simonini Victor 1 engine is also an option which gives 54 Mph (86 Kph) cruise. (See specifications).

Has a 35% double surface wing that has an area of 14 sq meters (150 sq ft). Coupled to the 28 Hp Simonini Mini 2 Plus engined trike, it has a cruise of 38 mph (61 kph). Max level speed 50 Mph(80 Kph). The powerful 48 Hp Simonini twin ignition water cooled Victor 1 engine is also an option. (See Specifications).
